Design Beyond Work
Spreading design culture.Empowering minds.
My journey as a designer isn't just about solving problems at work — it's also about inspire upcoming designers, and create more meaningful design conversations in the places that need it most — starting from within the organizations we're part of.
Planting Seeds of Design Thinking
- In an effort to create awareness and open up new career possibilities for young minds, we conducted a one-day Design Thinking workshop at Bannari Amman Institute of Technology.
- For many students, this was their first real exposure to the world of UX. The response? Electric.
- Their curiosity, questions, and energy proved there's a growing hunger for design in places where it's rarely talked about.

Bridging Academia and Industry
- To give the students a taste of the real design world, we followed it up with a hands-on workshop at the TrusTrust office.
- This not only brought them closer to industry practices but also helped them see how design lives and breathes inside a tech organization.
- For some, this was the spark that shifted their career path.
Creating Community Moments
- With a vision to make Coimbatore a growing design hub, I hosted a Figma Config Watch Party at TrusTrust.
- Designers from around the city joined in — sharing thoughts, networking, and celebrating our craft together.
- It was more than just a livestream; it was a collective moment of inspiration and community bonding.
